Distribution Research
For most magazines, distribution occurs in stores like Publix or Kroger. They're sat on the shelves and displayed right when people check out, which for some unknown reason makes them more inclined to buy them. However, many people nowadays are purchasing online subscriptions to magazines and either reading them online or having them mailed to their home directly. These monthly subscriptions ultimately end up costing the reader more money, but offers bigger profit for the magazine. For my product, I would offer both an online subscription and hard copies in stores like Publix, however I do not see many people purchasing my genre of magazine during their weekly shopping trip. This magazine has a very niche audience, and thus most people would probably be getting my content from the online subscription.
